A short film, 2000.
The grain of the film moves faster than desire.
Written with my best friend Bonnie Elliott. This film was made as a homage to the poetry of beautiful and forgotten Motel rooms. We went on a road trip with a 16mm camera and a super 8 camera. We cross processed the film before optically printing it at a ratio of 2:1 using a jurassic looking 16mm optical printer. Motel aptly represents the end of an affair and the end of the analogue age. I watch this film and I still love it.
Produced by Karinn Cheung and Robert Brennan, written by Anna Fraser and Bonnie Elliott, cinematography by Bonnie Elliott, art directed by Anna Fraser, directed by Anna Fraser and Bonnie Elliott.
